TIF, (Floors), Sept 30, 2014

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to bring your attention to the Trade it Forward campaign that the New Frontiers School Board is creating/promoting.  I encourage all of you to look at the nfsb.me website and consider getting involved.  You would have a chance win a few prizes and there is a substantial monetary prize to be won too.

Be that as it may, the real fun part of this contest is the actual participating in it as you will get the opportunity to help others and use your skills.  If they help someone else, there will be a cascading effect that will make the world a better place.  I would really love to see what you are up to, even if it has nothing to do with carpentry.

If you look at the site, you will see my little TIF action.  One photo is not a great indication of the job or the context, so I am including a picture of the caboose with the new roof complete:

Work does not have to have a cash reward: sometimes the pleasure of working with someone else, or seeing the happiness in their eyes is reward enough.  I challenge you to up the ante!!

See you in class tomorrow; looking forward to it,

J
